Who Can Vote? Anyone
who is:
- 18 years of age
- a citizen of the U.S. and meets the residency
requirements of his or her state
Who Can Be President?
Someone who is:
- a natural-born citizen of the U.S.
- at least 35 years of age
- a resident of the U.S. for at least 14 years

Who Can Be a Senator?
Someone who is:
- at least 30 years old
- a citizen of the U.S. for at least 9 years
- a resident of the state where he or she is
elected
Who Can Be a Representative?
Someone who is:
- at least 25 years old
- a citizen of the U.S. for at least 7 years
- a resident of the state where he or she is
elected
