New Voting System Installed
The installation of our new voting system has gone very smoothly. This upgrade was mandated by legislation passed in 2013 which requires all counties in Florida to update their touch screen tabulators. The law states we must only use voting equipment which produces a paper ballot. After 19 years of dedicated service, the old voting system has retired. This has been a massive operation, hours of design, planning, physical labor and now several weeks of training to learn the new system. Enjoy these photos, which highlight the installation and new voting system.
