Register or Change Your Party Affiliation by July 30

Florida is a Closed Primary State.

If you wish to vote in a partisan Primary Election, you must be a registered voter in the party for which the Primary is being held. All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote on issues, universal primary contests and nonpartisan candidates during a Primary Election. The new voter registration and party affiliation change deadline is July 30, 2018.

This is the first election cycle in which eligible citizens may register to vote or make a change to their voter registration using Florida’s Online Voter Registration system: RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov

You may also register to vote in person at the Elections Office, Tax Collector Offices or Public Libraries. To register or send a change by mail, use the Florida Voter Registration Application, available for download at FlaglerElections.com/Vote
